election together!
With your help we can win the primary election May 2,
2006 and win the general election in November, 2006. It
takes leadership in congress, not just talk and promises,
to get things done, and I believe my background proves
that I have the leadership ability necessary to serve you
in congress. I joined the U.S. Marine Corps as a private
and received an honorable discharge as an infantry
captain during the Korean conflict. Was also
commanding officer of an Ohio National Guard unit. I
was elected to Cleveland City Council at age 27 and
served three elected terms. I served as Superintendent
of Schools for 10 years. I was an instructor of real
estate at Lorain County Community College and had
three real estate offices in Lorain and Cuyahoga
Counties. I have lived in the 13th district most of my
life. My seven children have been educated in Lorain,
Cuyahoga and Medina County schools. I have three
grandsons now serving in Iraq, Korea and the United
States. I was elected two-term president United
Methodist Metropolitan Council representing 58
churches. I know the 13th district, and we will be
posting up-to-date information on issues periodically.
